Purpose of The Temple Guard: Their primary responsibility is to guard the proceedings during Stated Meetings and Ceremonials
The Temple Guard is one of the oldest units in the El Zaribah Shrine being formed in 1947. Their primary responsibility is to guard the proceedings during Stated Meetings and Ceremonials, but they are very active in other functions:
o Parade Participation.
o Annual Crab Feast (jointly with the Greeters unit).
o Hosting the Munds Park Weekend (in July, open to all Masons and friends).
o Annual Circus – Providing “cook tent” to feed Shriners and First Responders working there and helping to oversee the animals.
o Helping at Hospital Clinics, the Easter Brunch, the CornFest, the FEZtival of Trees, and Membership Committee functions.

o Dinner at 5:30 PM (in Red Fez Room)
o Meeting at 6:30 PM (in Temple Guard Room)
